What if there wasn't a God as the Bible states?
What a hopeless mess this world would be!
How could something so detailed and intricate happen by accident (Big Bang)? How could the complexity of our bodies, the earth, and even the whole universe happen by accident? How could the planets stay in orbit without running into each other? Scientists continue to discover more and more new wonders in space. I am no scientist or microbiologist, but just common sense tells me that there is no way, at all, that any of this appeared accidentally. No way, no way, NO WAY!!!
With that said, what if the world was not created by God? What if this whole wonderful universe and everything in it appeared out of nothing? What if there was no instruction book from God (Bible) telling us what is right and wrong? Would we even still be here with no moral compass leading our thoughts and deeds? We would be left to our own devices which could be devastating to the human race. There would be no hope of peace, prosperity, or a life after death. We would just exist for a time and then be gone. I think even more people would be depressed, having a sense of worthlessness. I know I would. That's how I felt before I accepted the free gift of salvation from God, who rescued me from that hopelessness. There is no way that change could have happened without God's transforming power in me.
